Magnolia Bistro is a wine bar and restaurant in Claremont now under new ownership located off historic Foothill Blvd and Claremont Blvd. The new owners, father and daughter team Missy and Victor Flores, are bringing fresh energy and ideas to the table, elevating the dining experience for its patrons.

Partnership with Local Businesses
One of the standout features of the Magnolia Bistro is its partnership with local businesses. They’ve partnered with Padua Pasta Makers for their pasta dishes (Linguine Santorini, Mushroom Marsala, Mafalda Bolognese, Shrimp Scampi).
They’ve partnered with local ice cream shop Bert & Rocky’s when it comes to their dessert menu.
Their coffee served during brunch is in partnership with Lucky Coffee Roasters, a local Claremont coffee destination.
Draft beer is locally sourced from Old Stump Brewery while the imported beer is all from Europe and made to be paired with their full menu offerings to complement each dish.
Elevated Food Menu
One word, “charcuterie.” You’ve got to try it! It’s the best charcuterie spread in town. Choose between the Grand (serves 1-2 people), Deluxe (serves 3-4 people), or Platinum (serves 6-8 people) all offering Sage Derby Cheese, Danish Blue Cheese, Muenster Cheese, Belton Farms Port Wine Derby Cheese, Bresaola Citterio, Salami, Capocollo, Prosciutto, and other accouterments.
They have some showstopper appetizers including the Baked Brie, Patatas Bravas, and Roasted Garlic Shrimp. Try their Caprese or wedge salad with a side of French Onion soup.
Their pasta dishes are in collaboration with Padua Pasta Makers in Upland so you know it’s going to be good. I recommend the Mushroom Marsala or Mafalda Bolognese.
Entrees include Halibut à la Blanc, Pan-Roasted Salmon, Beef Filet Mignon, Magnolia Burger and more.
Curated Wine Selection
As their website states, “At Magnolia Bistro, we know that a beverage can enhance any dining experience. Our beer and wine selection is a curated collection of local and international origins that complement our menu and enrich your dining experience with us.”
They carry all your favorite red wine options from regions like Paso Robles, Sonoma, Napa, and Lodi such as a bold cabernet Sauvignon from Caymus or Austin Hope. Try their Sea Sun Pinot Noir or Conundrum red blend.
Their white wine options are impressive and some recommendations are the Riesling (From Germany, of course.), La Crema Sauvignon Blanc and DAOU Chardonnay.
There are plenty of options for a glass of bubbly (sparkling wine) and a Rosé from France.
This curated wine selection is meant to be paired with their full menu offerings or enjoyed alongside a charcuterie board.
For all you beer drinkers, you have plenty of options. Grab a pint of blonde ale, IPA (hazy, double, tripple, west coast style), Irish Red, or Gose Sour on draft. There are also Artisanal bottled beer to choose from.

Magnolia Bistro recently implemented a brunch service because that’s what weekends are for!
On Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM - 2 PM, brunch is offered with specials like steak & eggs, brunch burger, bread pudding French toast, charcuterie spread and signature omelets.
They have three benedicts to choose from (classic, lox, short rib) as well as fresh salads.
Brunch beverages include mimosas, Irish coffee, or coffee from Lucky Coffee Roasters.
